At the Seaside with Caz

Good morning everyone, hopefully you have all woken up to a beautiful sunny morning but if not I'm sure it will improve sometime during the day.

This is our first fortnightly post and it will seem odd next week but I'm sure I'll get used to it very quickly, thanks for your great entries last week and I'm sure Sue will have a tough time again, trying to sort out her top three but we'll be back to let you know who has won in the next post.

The top three for One for the Boys has been decided and Jocelyn has told us why she has gone for the ones she liked the best.

First - 7. Tracey Boley

The blue and black combination work really well here and I really like the die cut star embellishments. Great layout.

Second - 9. Kym

A lot of work and thought has gone into this one and it's very different. Love the idea of the pop up card with all the spooks inside.

Third - 10. Kimbo

I love the way the terracotta pots in the main image have been reflected throughout the card with the colouring of the embossed background and the added button flowerpot.

This week Caz has decided to use the theme of At the Seaside and there are lots of images out there that are suitable so hopefully you won't have a problem and we'll see some super projects over the next two weeks.

The team have come up with some good stuff too so hopefully there will be some inspiration here for you.

You now have two weeks to join in with us so hopefully you will be eager to get going and produce more of your stunning work.
Please link to your post and not your blog, I know we say this every week but we still have people who link to the blog which means we have to trawl through posts to find the entry at times.  Please, please use something from a CD somewhere in the making of your project and give the CD credit. We still get the odd entry that has not had a CD used in the making and although they are lovely to see they won't be considered for receiving any prizes on offer and the team will not visit to comment. We look forward to seeing you during the week and … please have fun.

  1. Fab challenge! I was tempted to turn to my La Pashe CDs but the DT have already produced some great cards using them so I looked a bit further afield. Next Sunday morning is going to feel very strange with no new challenge to look forward to!!!

  2. I love the cards the DT has made this week, if only the weather could look like the weather on these cards we would be all set for summer.
