CD Sunday - 'Say it with flowers' - chosen by Pamela

Good Morning everyone - Thank you to those who entered Jane’s ‘Anything Asian’ challenge.  Not as many as we would have liked for Jane’s first challenge but a big thank you nevertheless. Jane will be back in a couple of weeks with her winner.

Before we tell you all about the next challenge chosen by Pamela I am going to sneak in with my own Top 3 for my ‘Sketch’ challenge.

This genuinely was a difficult choice as there was just a smidgen between 1st and 2nd. I almost did a tied 1st.

1st   – #6 - Linby
A lovely free spirited interpretation of the Sketch.  Something I would like to have done but know that I wouldn't have thought of it.
2nd   – #7- Seafield Jo (second entry)
I just love the image and the backing paper together. The shape of the die cut and everything. I keep coming back to have another look.
3rd   – #3 –Jane
I love all the images by Faye Whittaker and this is a lovely one you have chosen. A slightly different take on the Sketch which I love.

Congratulations Linby . Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with Seafield Jo and Jane grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.

Now for her own challenge - 'Say it with flowers' -  Pamela has produced something with a real WOW factor – so here it is to start us off:

Carol

We hope you enjoy looking at the teams designs and that they will give you some ideas. Have fun and ….. as always, please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer. And whilst talking of prizes – please note that the last of our very few rules states that the prize winner must claim the prize. We do put the current prize winner at the top of the Blog on each challenge so that it can be seen.  If it is not claimed it can’t be given.

See you next time.

CD Sunday - 'Anything Asian' - chosen by Jane

Firstly thank you to those who entered my Sketch Challenge - I will be back with my Top 3 in a couple of weeks - and secondly before we talk about the new challenge chosen by Jane - we have Pauline’s Top 3 for her last challenge ‘Spring Colours’.  It was – of course – our Birthday challenge as well so the winner will be receiving a prize from Pauline - and I will be posting this one as promised:

So here from Pauline:

1st   – #4 - DebiB

2nd – #2 - KandA

3rd –#3 - Hazel

Well done Debi. Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prizes and together with KandA and Hazel grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.
Now Jane has said ‘ANYTHING’ Asian so as long as a CD has been used somewhere (and you tell us which one) the sky’s the limit.
Here are the team’s interpretations for your delectation (love that word).  Jane first of course:

CD Sunday - 'Sketch' - chosen by Carol

Here for you to ponder whilst we tell you about other matters  is the simple sketch I have designed:

First thank you to all those who entered our 7th Birthday Challenge - Spring Colours - chosen by Pauline and we will know in a couple of weeks who is the lucky winner.

But now sadly we have to announce that for health reasons Pauline has decided to step down from not only our Design Team but also many others of which she has been a member. We all will miss her input but we know that she will still be crafting at a gentler and less hectic pace.  Thank you to Pauline for all her hard work as part of our team.

Now second here is Jocelyn’s Top 3 choice for 'Any Old Iron'

1st    – Seafield Jo – with her second entry
I love this card, especially the two little metal charms! The design of the backing paper is very effective too - I may have to borrow that idea!!
2nd –  KandA
House Mouse is always a favourite of mine, in fact I have just received an order from Joanna Sheen's website of two House Mouse colouring books (yay!). Love the colours on this card.
3rd –  Sue
Such a lovely nostalgic image and I love the stitched look of the dies.
Well done Seafield Jo. Please contact us at cdsunday2@gmail.com to claim your prize and together with KandA and Sue grab the appropriate logo from the side bar.

I have given you the Sketch up at the top so here are the interpretations by the team starting with mine:

As always, please, please, do not forget to use something from a CD somewhere, however small, in the making of your card or project and give the CD credit. Entries that do not include the use of a CD, although welcome to see, will not be considered for the prize on offer.
See you next time.
